    New application round for the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme “Culture”

    In January 2021 the new application round for the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme “Culture” has been announced. The upcoming application rounds for Mobility funding and in the module for Artist Residencies will start on January 11, but applications for network module will start on January 25.

    The professional art and culture practitioners from Latvia in 2020 through Nordic-Baltic Mobility Program “Culture” have received significant support. In the module for artist residencies only “Gertrudes ielas teatris” association “Tarba” has received support of 12,190 euros. The support in the short-term network module have received Latvian Center for Contemporary Art, Institute of Literature Folklore and Art of the University of Latvia, Association “CultureLab” and Association “Artillery 35”. Mobility scholarships from Latvia have been awarded for Eva Vēvere, Kristīne Madjare, Viktorija Eksta, Evita Goze, Sandra Strēle, Mārtiņš Roķis, Dzintra Erliha, Indra Purs, Elvīra Bloma, Ieva Džindža un Romāns Korovins.

    Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme in the field of Culture supports long- and short-term network building, artists’ residencies and mobility of professional art and culture practitioners in all artistic fields. The main goal is to create a platform for an innovative, dynamic Nordic-Baltic art and culture life.
